Faye Yates has Mir’s disease and is having a hard time in her ministry. She felt uplifted by our church and request prayer for her to be able to continue her singing ministry.

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Tabitha’s sister-in-law is pregnant had a doctors appointment yesterday. The doctor is concerned about her not gaining much weight. Request for her to gain more weight. Baby appears to be doing fine.

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Jimmy request prayer for his mother who is in the hospital since Monday. Her heart continues to go into a-fib. She does have a pace maker and Jimmy says she is in good spirits. Please pray the doctors will find the cause and she is healed.

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Carol Marquis’s niece Dana has a condition that causes her skeleton parts to grow faster than other parts. This is causing her pain and the doctor request her to use crutches. She is 11 years old and has trouble doing what the doctors request. Please pray for her healing and she will comply with doctor orders.

Long time School Friend
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009My friend Joanette Smasal of San Antonio had a stroke two weeks ago tomorrow. She is in a Rehabilation hospital at the medical center area. The stroke affected her right side and she has lost sight in the right eye. She covers her left eye with her hand or wears a patch over it. It doesn’t focus to well but can see a little out of it. She has lost the use of that leg and knee. The staff hasn’t tried to get her to stand because of this. She has problems coordinating her thoughts but her speech has improved greatly. She gets discouraged and tires because she is trying so hard to get better. Please pray for her healing and that their insurance will continue to let her stay there for awhile. Bless you all

Big John
Saturday, January 3rd, 2009John has been fighting cancer for years! He has under gone radiation, chemo and a number of surgeries. Last week a prayer chain at work, prayed for John to recover. Please read the following:
John called New Years Eve night at some friends place where we were
jamming and said he felt good, no pain, was really upbeat and that he
was planning on coming home today. I was told by some friends that
talked to Linda Wednesday (as I understood it) that the night after he
had surgery that she was laying with her head on her hands and all of a
sudden she felt God’s presence in the room and she looked up at John and
she said that she saw a glow around John’s head and that she just really
felt God’s presence strong in the room and as she watched, she saw the
swelling begin to leave his head and the swelling went down. GOD is
still in the miracle working business. So I’m sure John will thank
everybody for their prayers because God has answered prayer on his
behalf again.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for John and Linda, I know that they are
very thankful that they have friends who will stand by them in a time
like this.
John called Sandi yesterday and this is what he told her
yesterday::::
He told me that the last MRI Wed night showed no tumor, no blood
vessels, no arteries in the area of the surgery. Also said they were 99
percent sure it was the thyroid cancer and radiation wouldn’t help it
but cancer and brain drs are going to debate that – 47 staples, I think,
and 4 titanium plates – goes back on 12th.
