My friend Joanette Smasal of San Antonio had a stroke two weeks ago tomorrow. She is in a Rehabilation hospital at the medical center area. The stroke affected her right side and she has lost sight in the right eye. She covers her left eye with her hand or wears a patch over it. It doesn’t focus to well but can see a little out of it. She has lost the use of that leg and knee. The staff hasn’t tried to get her to stand because of this. She has problems coordinating her thoughts but her speech has improved greatly. She gets discouraged and tires because she is trying so hard to get better. Please pray for her healing and that their insurance will continue to let her stay there for awhile. Bless you all

Received news on my friend Joanette. She has been sent home, she can now feed herself and take care of some of her needs but she is still unable to walk or stand. Joanette wares a patch over the eye that she can not see from in order to train her good eye to focas. Please keep her lifted to God’s throne and for him to heal her. RW
New prayer request.
For son-in-laws Father, Vernon Sooter of New Braunfels. He will be going into the hospital tomorrow June the 5th for a biopsy of a tumor on the hip that is pressing on the cyanic nerve. Pray that it will not be cancerous and if it is that it will be treatable. Vernon has been through a lot in the last two years the death of both his wife and Mother in a week of each other. He has just begun to make a new life without them. Please pray for the strength and courage to face these next trials and for his son and two daughters.
